You are bidding on  a BEAUTIFUL......ANTIQUE...TOLD 1900'S ERA....AND TOLD TOUGH TO FIND "TRUE TRIANGULAR" SHAPED, AND GOLDEN OR HONEY AMBER IN COLOR GLASS... POISON BOTTLE, MEASURES ABOUT 3 1/4" TALL  which says " POISON (on side panel) P D & CO. (on the base" which came out of the historic town of   BISBEE, ARIZONA

This came out of a lifetime collection of antique southwest bottles.....

IF YOU NOTE......THE BASE SAYS "P.D. & CO".....SO ORIGINAL OWNER THOUGHT THIS MIGHT HAVE BEEN ISSUED BY "PHELPS DODGE COMPANY" BECAUSE THEY RAN A DISPENSARY & HOSPITAL IN BISBEE CALLED THE "COPPER QUEEN HOSPITAL".........I GUESS BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE IT WAS FOUND......BUT I ALSO KNOW THAT THERE WAS A DRUG COMPANY CALLED "PARKE DAVIS" WHICH MADE OLD BOTTLES........I just pass this along....in any event it's a great looking POISON bottle

THIS IS  A GORGEOUS UNCLEANED SPECIMEN....HOPING YOU CAN TELL  HOW NICE THIS ONE IS FROM MY AVERAGE PICTURE TAKING ABILITY :)...THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL BOTTLE,....I TRIED TO TAKE PHOTOS FROM EVERY POSSIBLY ANGLE...DOES HAVE A LINEAR SCRAPE ON ONE PANEL (see image 19) WHICH IS VERY MINOR, COULD BE POLISHED, BUT I WOULD NOT BOTHER.

THIS BOTTLE DISPLAYED WITH OLD RUBBER STYLE CORK.....NOT SURE IF ITS ORIGINAL, BUT DISPLAYS WELL.

ALSO, I CALL THIS A "TRUE TRIANGULAR" POISON BOTTLES.....YOU SEE SO MANY LISTINGS ON EBAY THAT SAY "TRIANGULAR".....MOST ARE NOT TRIANGULAR, BUT RATHER HAVE 2 FLAT PANELS AND A BACK ROUND PANEL....THIS REALLY IS A TRIANGULAR SHAPE (see image 5)....ALSO NOTE THE TYPICAL "HOBNAIL" EMBOSSING ON ALL 3 CORNERS...TYPICAL OF POISON BOTTLES

The mining town of Bisbee is located in Cochise County not far from Tombstone, Lowell and Douglas Az

This P.B. & Co. poison bottle is what I would call a golden or honey amber colored glass, it is a triangular shape, measures about  3 1/4" tall  ...and it is a very beautiful specimen...with a rough linear area on one panel (see image 19) which is possibly as made but very minor, or could easily be polished away, just has not been cleaned at all but glass is great., neat bottle. Was displayed with rubber cork, so that comes with

Nice ANTIQUE TOLD 1900'S ERA....BEAUTIFUL GOLDEN HONEY AMBER TRIANGULAR "POISON" BOTTLE once issued by "P. D. & CO"" (again Phelps Dodge Co. had a dispensary & hospital in Bisbee....or possibly Park Davis Co) ,  ... which came out of a southwest bottle collection, and originally found in BISBEE, ARIZONA
