About the Artist:

Dave Cockurm's (1943-2006) body of work includes a prestigious list of some of the most popular characters and titles in the industry. He began his career in 1973 on DC’s Legion of Super Heroes, going on to draw characters for Valiant, Defiant, and of course Marvel with his collaborating on the re-vamp of the X-Men- a title about to be canceled. Indeed, he is the artist on the landmark issues X-Men Giant Size 1 and X-Men 94, co-creating many of the new X-Men and credited with the being the first artist to draw the characters. His other work includes Elvira, The Avengers, Blackhawk, Star Trek, Batman, and several others.
