INSTRUCTION MANUAL
CARE & SAFETY
CAUTION: Follow the safety precautions below to reduce the risk of damaging your instrument.
Do not bring the magnetic base near data storage media (hard drives, USB drives etc.) due to the magnetic force it can destroy stored data.
Make sure the magnetic base is on a firm, clean surface (no oil, grease, paint, burrs, or other material). Surface roughness, paint, or other contamination may reduce magnetic holding strength.
Make sure the magnetic base is fully ON (magnet engaged) when in use to prevent the device from slipping.
Keep the magnetic base switched to the OFF position when not in use.
Keep the magnet away from pacemakers, medical devices or transformers or demagnetizers.
Do not disassemble the magnetic base. Use of nonapproved parts or disassembly may affect the performance of the device.
To prevent damage to the magnetic base, avoid hitting or dropping it.
