Works when you lift up OR have the Furby in your hand and motion in front of the head sensor. If sitting needs to be lifted once and it will work and continue talking after its programmed pauses. The plate below is the trigger and moves up and down when lifted as this is part of the design. When sitting the motion sensor does not make the Furby work.  See Video.
