Statement of Confirmation from
the seller
I use the eBay platform to sell a limited number of brand-new items that are surplus from my personal bulk purchases, with the aim of offsetting my overall import costs. I may also sell used items that are still fully functional and suitable for continued use for a few more years, mainly to free up storage space.
Buyers have the option to receive items either by post or through in-person collection. For collections, the buyer is welcome to inspect the item beforehand to assess its quality and performance (for example, testing/knocking a cricket bat with a leather ball or checking the suitability of sportswear or gear) before deciding to proceed. eBay will provide the buyer with a QR code for collection. Payment to the seller will only be processed once the buyer is satisfied with the item and shares the collection QR code. If the buyer decides not to proceed, they can simply withhold the QR code and request a refund through eBay.
Additionally,
the original purchase receipt can be made available upon request, and a
personal sales note can also be provided at the time of collection if
requested.
