This is a beautiful
TOP QUALITY
ANTIQUE
LEATHER
JEWELLERY BOX
by
BRAMAH & Co.
(MAKER) TO THE KING.
100 NEW BOND ST.
The box measures approx 10 inches (255mm) wide, by 7 inches (175mm) deep, by 3 inches (75mm) tall, and is made from patterned leather throughout.
The hinged lid has "stand up" hinges (see photos), and opens to reveal a sumptious, Purple Leather lined interior.
The lock is the Bramah type; but has no key, the strike plate has no "studs" or "pins", (see photos).
The box is in good, antique condition with very light wear, in keeping with its great age.
The hinges work as they should, and the lid opens and closes without issue.
This is a Top Quality piece, and it would make a lovely display piece and be a great addition to any collection.
