You are looking at a very rare Heuer. This watch pre-dates the TAG Heuer merger. This is a Heuer 1000 Series men's Professional 980.013 model watch. I am a watch collector who owns over 500 TAG Heuer watches. I currently have quite a few for sale. It was simply time to clean out the closet. This survivor is a men's size Heuer with a case size of about 37mm (42mm including the crown). The crystal is in perfect condition with no scratches. The back casing is in very good condition with light wear scratches. The stainless steel jubilee band is a brand new aftermarket bracelet made to fit this model. The band & clasp is in near mint unworn condition. The bezel is in excellent condition with light scratches. The side casing looks very good with light scratching. The hands & hour markers look very good. I would rate this survivor as a solid 9.1 out of 10 in condition. The watch movement is original and it fit up to a 9 inch wrist. The bezel turns and clicks crisply in the counter clockwise direction, as it should. It keeps perfect time. This model has a quartz movement and it is 200 meters water resistant. I do not recommend wearing a watch of this age in the water. New battery just installed by TAG dealer. Buy from someone with a 26 year history of selling authentic TAG Heuers, like myself.
