Up for sale is a stunning Lionel 6-9863 Railway Express Agency (REA) Refrigerator Car in Mint/Like New condition. This classic O-Gauge piece, built in 1974 (MPC Era), features a vibrant green body with sharp, crisp gold lettering and the iconic REA diamond logo. The car itself appears to be in pristine, unrun condition with no visible scratches or marks. The paint is bright and the trucks/couplers are fully functional.
Condition Notes: • Item: Mint / Like New. • Box: Includes the original Lionel orange/white box. Please note that the clear plastic display window has partially detached from the cardboard at the bottom due to aging of the original adhesive (a very common occurrence with these vintage boxes). The box remains structurally sound for storage and display.
