Nice old wooden ship wheel . Has brass insert with turnbuckle type fasteners.

Brass still shiny,but has some age wear.wood in great shape.

There must have been at one time something in the porthole,but don’t know what?

Perhaps a barometer,clock or compass of some sort?

Back has hook for hanging.

The diameter is 19” round.
