Charming painting executed in the Barbizon manner by the English painter Winston McQuoid who was a notable portrait painter. A spirited dramatic work originally priced at the large sum of 14 Guineas on the reverse. 

Age- c1950
 

Size- 18 by 29 inches approx including frame.
 

Medium- Oils on panel

Frame- Later wooden frame, some knocks, offered free with the painting.
 

Condition- This painting generally is in decent condition given its age. There is a little varnish browning but overall we would be very happy to hang this one as found. The painting has been cleaned and had some restoration to the sky. 

Signature- Lower left.
