This jar is signed "Celia Lopez Q" the Q after Celia Lopez's signature identifies her as a member of the

Quezada family, the most prominent family in the Mata Ortiz pottery tradition, also her maiden name.

This jar comes with a whicker rest. There is what looks like a fine crack under the bottom lip, 

not sure if it was a repair or a crack, it's almost unnoticeable. Regardless this fish effigy example is 

very rare and will make a substantial addition to anyone's collection.
