GAI 9.5 GEM MINT with the"1st Graded" designation noted on the label.  The "1st Graded" designation was noted for the first example of a card graded at a specific grade, and is a 1/1 in a manner of speaking.  Would make a nice addition to an advanced Emmitt Smith collection!

Case surfaces are clean, with just a few light marks/scratches on the reverse.

I am providing the following info about GAI to answer questions that potential buyers may have, or for those unfamiliar with this grading company from the past.  Global Authentication Inc. (GAI) was founded in 2002 and was, at one time, one of the top four grading companies in the industry, along with PSA, SGC, and BGS.  The company had a good run, including being the first company to grade unopened packs and boxes (before PSA and BBCE respectively), but ceased operations and broke up in 2009.  Most cards graded very early in the company's history (with the silver and black labels) were accurately graded, and usually cross over to PSA/SGC/BGS at, or close to, the equivalent grade if cracked out, as they were graded along uniform industry standards.

ALL of the GAI cards in my Ebay store were submitted directly by me for grading very early in the company's existence.  They all have the silver and black label with the cert number above the bar code on the reverse.  The first card to be assigned a specific grade was noted as "1st Graded" on the label.  Many of the cards I am offering are noted on the label as "1st Graded", and as such are 1/1's in a manner of speaking.

Please feel free to ask any questions, or request additional info, about this, or any item, in my Ebay store.
