You are looking at a Tag Heuer 1000 Series 980.615 women's Professional model watch. I am a watch collector who owns over 500 TAG Heuer watches. I currently have quite a few for sale. It was simply time to clean out the closet. This survivor is a women's size TAG watch with a case size of about 32mm (36mm including the crown). Anything 32mm and larger, I classify as a midsize watch that can be worn by either a man or a woman. It is really all about your preference so please look at the size. I would say it is more suited for a smaller man or a man who likes slightly smaller faced watches....or a woman who likes larger sized watches compared to traditional women's sizes. In my opinion, this is better suited for a woman. It is a midsize watch that is in-between the true ladies size and the smaller 38mm men's TAGs. The crystal is in excellent condition with few fine scratches. The back casing is in very good condition with light wear scratches. The TAG stainless steel band is in excellent condition with light wear scratches. The clasp and surrounding area is in very good condition with light wear scratches. The bezel is in very good condition with light scratches. The hands & hour markers look excellent. I would rate this true survivor as a solid 9 out of 10 in condition. It is beautiful. The watch is all original and will fit up to a 6.5 inch wrist. It also has the wetsuit extension, which allows you to easily get it over your hand. The bezel turns and clicks crisply in the counter clockwise direction, as it should. It keeps perfect time. This model has a quartz movement and it is 200 meters water resistant. New battery just installed by TAG dealer. This watch retailed for $1495 new. Buy from someone with a 26 year history of selling authentic TAG Heuers, like myself. Please see my other TAGs for sale.
