Offered for your consideration is this Antique Rare Oak Hotel Washstand Commode with Beveled Mirror and Towel Bar that was manufactured by the Spiegel Furniture Co (1889-1924) of Shelbyville, IN. Don't see this style of washstand much anymore with the high back harp that features the mirror above the towel bar. Additional features worth mentioning are a tilting beveled mirror with floral gingerbread accents at center, rounded profile edges, slightly stepped ledge front, beautiful brass hardware, and well maintained & pre-loved. Measures 33" wide x 67" high x 19" deep.  Below is more information on the manufacturer:

Spiegel Furniture Co (1889-1924): Christian Spiegel, a German cabinet maker who came from Vincennes started the Spiegel Furniture Co at 837 Webster in 1889, with his five sons, Edward, Augustus, William, Charley & Arthur. The company manufactured bedroom and dining room furniture. In 1925, the Spiegel Cabinet Company, an expansion of the business began operation in a new building across from the above mentioned factory on the west side of the RR tracks. The Spiegel Cabinet Co. closed about 1950 and was sold to the Anderson Transfer Co.
