This is Puccini's Turandot ... a performance which took place in 1982.   With performances by Katia Ricciarelli (Turandot), Piero de Palma (Altoum), Ruggero Raimondi (Timur), Placido Domingo (Calaf), Barbara Hendricks (Liu), Gottfried Hornik (Ping), Heinz Zednik (Pang), Francisco Araiza (Pong) and Siegmund Nimsgern (Un Mandarino). 

The Wiener Philharmoniker is conducted by Herbert Von Karajan.
