Classic 1964 debut album: The Animals - The Animals on MGM Records (E-4264, mono pressing) – featuring their massive #1 hit "The House of the Rising Sun" plus early British Invasion blues-rock gems! Produced by Mickie Most, this captures the raw energy of Eric Burdon, Alan Price, Hilton Valentine, Chas Chandler, and John Steel in their prime.
Front cover shows the band in sharp suits against a green background – iconic! Back has the detailed "Life-Lines" bios (birthplaces, influences like Ray Charles/Chuck Berry, hobbies, etc.) – super collectible for '60s rock fans. No shrink-wrap (not sealed, opened/handled vintage copy), cover shows honest age: light edge/corner wear, some surface creasing/discoloration on white areas, no splits or major tears. Still displays well with vibrant colors and band photo.
Vinyl is black, glossy, with colorful MGM lion label (Side 1 & 2 tracks clear). Looks clean under light – no deep scratches visible in photos; labels nice.
