Georgie Fame and The Blue Flames, Rhythm and Blues at "The Flamingo"

Original 1964 UK EMI Columbia Records mono vinyl LP, 33SX 1599.

Blue and black Columbia labels, matrices: 1N / 1N

Vinyl actually looks pretty rough with a large number of scuff marks and light scratches many of which are very visible. No deep marks or scratches however.

Playback is surprisingly good considering. A loud and bright cut and plays bright and clean with no distortion. Only occasionally some light crackle and an occasional tick is heard but this relatively infrequent and unobtrusive. Mostly no nasty surprises or loud and continuous ticks. The exception is a short burst of soft continuous ticks to "Shop Around" which aren't too obtrusive. In summary visually around G-, plays a solid VG.

Labels are clean.

Original Emitex inner sleeve is somewhat worn and creased and with tan staining and some small tears.

External sleeve on the whole clean and tidy. Laminated front panel bright and clean. A few light pinchline creases leading in from edge areas. Matt white rear panel with some ringwear darkening and other light smudging. Edges and spine are clean and with minimal wear. Tips with light wear.
