Fukui Gessai was a Japanese painter from the Meiji to early Showa periods. He was born in Edo. His real name was Kinjiro, so he was given the pseudonym Kinho. He moved to Tokyo and studied under Kano Eisho, who called himself the 10th Kano master. He eventually developed his own unique style of painting, moved to Osaka. And he compiled and published many miniatures and art books under Aoki Shozando. The "Korin Gafu" is one of the book. Published by Aoki Shozando in 1893. Backed with paper. There are kight stains.
