This paint is a single stage product which means that no hardener is added. This gives our touch up paint an extended shelf life. Use it today then if you need down the road it will still be usable. Just like the factory finish th e paint is gloss so no clear coat is needed (unless the original paint called for a clear). Our paint is slightly thinned so you can use the included brush to touch up the problem area or you can thin it down and spray it out of an airbrush
