Antenna has speckling to metal and tip is missing, but does extend (not easily) and catches signal just fine. There is white paint spray throughout unit. Boombox functions as it should with tuner, cassette, and cd all reading smoothly, no eating, all buttons function. Sounds great and gets very loud. Tone slider works and music sounds best on center line. Comes with power cord. Battery compartment is clean and takes 10 D batteries (not included). Unit was tested with just batteries and just the cord and it powers on with either choice.
