Turn the top cover upside down, then remove the guide cone, remove the E-clip with a flathead screwdriver to release the locking knob, then remove the washer, turn the top cover to the front side. Remove the locking knob and washer from the top cover. Then you can align the knob kit with the corresponding interface of the filter and turn it clockwise to secure it.
