Usage Precautions:
Most laser heads include electrostatic protection solder points. Before use, preheat a ESD-safe soldering iron, disconnect the power, and carefully open the protective solder points (silver-colored solder). Ensure all solder points are fully disconnected; otherwise, the laser may fail to read discs.
During installation, avoid touching the laser lens, and never attempt to adjust the potentiometer manually, as this can damage the laser diode.
Non-technical users are strongly advised to purchase the full CD mechanism instead of just the laser head to prevent installation errors that could result in unreadable discs.
