Mid-Century RED & WHITE CHECK COTTON Vintage 1960s Sleeveless SUN DRESS - S

Classic Cutie!  Mid-Century summer dress created  of a  lightweight, cotton or cotton blend fabric with a check pattern in red & white.  The sleeveless sun dress features a tailored bodice with a shallow scoop neckline, a darted bust and a nipped waist.  The tapered skirt features hip patch pockets and a knee length hem.     The dress is unlined (the lightweight, light coloured fabric is slightly sheer against strong light - you can always add a slip underneath) and closes at the back with a metal zipper.

MEASUREMENTS:  No labels  .. bust fits a size 32 - 34 bust best (bust measures 36 inches laid flat), waist measures 27 inches and the hips measure 42 inches..  There is no stretch to the fabric.    As always, remember to leave room for you when using these measurements to determine fit. The dress is 38.5 inches in length.

CONDITION:  Very slight wear ... overall,  excellent condition.

All of my items are vintage and therefore will have some minimal signs of wear consistent with their age (example - a loose thread).  I describe my items as honestly and accurately as possible with both text and pictures - clearly noting any known larger imperfections (holes, stains, missing buttons, etc).  If I have missed something, I apologize - please let me know and I will do my best to fix the issue.  But please remember I am a human being.  My preloved items have been freshly laundered unless otherwise noted in the description.
