Probably part of a bedroom wash set,  this half (1/2) gallon water jug is in MINT CONDITION.

It is a pottery jug just under 8 ins tall and 8.5 ins wide from spout to handle edge.

It comes from the Copeland Spode factory in Trent and from the mark # 253, in Robert Copelands book of Marks...... see photo.... we know it was made between 1875- & 1890.
