RARE INOKI-X Watch Seiko Alba Spoon Web Limited Edition Antonio Inoki WWF Works

This is a circa 2000 product. The Antonio Inoki watch "INOKI-X" is based on the Seiko Alba Spoon Web. The watch was a limited edition collaboration with famous Japanese WWF champion heavyweight wrestler Antonio Inoki. Inoki fought Muhammed Ali in Tokyo in 1976. The design is based on the Seiko Spoon Secret Agent Man watch with the display rotated and a wider wristband.

The display has a chrome "X"-shaped frame and is canted slightly off-center. It's a very unusual and eye-catching piece and extremely hard to find. There are buttons on the top frame of the face and a "joystick" on one side that is shaped like Inoki's head and can move the cursor multi-directionally.

The dot-matrix inverted LCD display can be displayed in either portrait or landscape orientation. At the top of the hour, random messages like "Good morning!", "Here we go!", "Take it easy," and "No news is good news" are displayed, reminiscent of an electronic bulletin board. It features a timer/chronograph function, a memo function for recording phone numbers and email addresses, and three alarms can be set.

Pre-owned. Does not include box or paperwork. In excellent condition. Some scratches on chrome frame. See photos. Display is in perfect condition and works properly.
