Vintage Scrimshaw brooch handmade by artist Harry Apodruk.  It possibly depicts the "summer stilt" houses built by the Inupiaq in Ukivok, on King Island in the Bering Sea.  Today this site is abandoned.  Clasp on this pin works well; it does have a small bend that does not affect the use.  Please remember this piece is vintage, pre loved and has been worn.  It does have some slight scratches that can be seen with a loupe.  I did not attempt to clean this pin, as I felt that was best left to the buyer if they wished to do so.
