This Coupon / Note is from a 1867 dated $1,000 Bond from The Boston Hartford & Erie Rail Road Company. You get the 1 Coupon / Note shown in first 2 pictures - the last few Pictures are from the Bond it came from & that is not included in this lot. These are Small - about 1 Inch x 2.5 Inches. We think this is a very nice Historical Civil War Era item with Super Nice Eye Appeal . The Bond was printed in 1867 but the Coupon / Note has a later Date as it was not set to Mature & be Cashed in until the 1870's. This lot will make a nice addition to any Collection or Set.

This is a small size note that was cut from a large Bond, it's approx. 1 x 3 inches. It has a bold signature & all lettering/print is very easy to see. It's in very nice shape with NO signs of wear or handling as it was cut from a bond that was remarkably preserved - its a very nice item considering its 150 + years old! Nice eye appeal with good color on an original lot that has never been or messed with.
