1953 Schenley Distillers clear glass whiskey bottle with ornate embossed scroll panel design. Base marked 129 D-9 53 3 indicating Schenley Distillers production in 1953, manufactured by Owens-Illinois Glass Company. Embossed “Federal Law Forbids Sale or Reuse of This Bottle” on base. Decorative mid-century flask form with heavy molded detail. This bottle WAS NOT initially sold with a stopper. Many Schenley bottles of the 40s-50s were resold empty later as decorative decanters.

In great condition. No cracks or repairs observed. Light interior residue, surface wear, and base wear consistent with age.
