This nep denim is woven with intentionally added fiber knots, creating a three‑dimensional texture and an authentic vintage look.

To recreate the details of the era when Okayama denim—considered Japan’s first domestically produced denim—was born, the design incorporates the same components used in vintage jeans, such as metal zippers, name labels, rivets, and donut buttons, all based on actual jeans part numbers.

From these genuine, authentic parts to the stitch work reminiscent of true denim craftsmanship, this new denim series by Luddites returns to the very origins of Japanese denim.
