(Alphonse Louis Constant)

Aleister Crowley believed himself to be the reincarnation of Eliphas Levi and and Egyptian Priest called Ankh-f-n-Khonsu. Levis work ‘The Key of the Mysteries’ was regarded by Crowley as a masterpiece, in fact as the work of an adept so advanced as to credit Levi with the grade of Adeptus Exemptus.

Aleister Crowleys translation, being himself an advanced occultist and of a far superior mind than any other mere translator, may be regarded as a masterpiece of a masterpiece.
