⚪️ Cleaning

When not working for a few minutes, it is important to lock the trigger of the gun and immerse the nozzle in a container of suitable solvent or water (if using water-based paints). This will prevent the paint from drying in the nozzle. Also, do not forget to release the pressure in the unit before starting to break.

If the nozzle becomes clogged, turn it 180 degrees from the SPRAY position (arrow pointing towards the gun outlet) to the CLEAN position (arrow in the opposite direction). Then clean the nozzle to remove any obstructions. If the problem persists, check the filter located in the gun handle - this may also need cleaning.

✳️ Choosing the right nozzle is easy with us! Here are some steps to help you make the right choice:

1️⃣ The first digit (A) indicates the width of the paint jet, which we call 'A'. To calculate the jet width, simply multiply the first digit by 5 cm. The result indicates the width of the paint jet if the gun is 30 cm from the surface to be painted. It can be written as:

Jet width = A x 5 cm

Example: If the first digit of "A" is 5, the spray width is: Spray width = 5 x 5 cm = 25 cm.

This means that holding the gun 30 cm from the surface will give a spray width of 25 cm.

2️⃣ The last two numbers (B) refer to the size of the nozzle opening and the type of paint that can be applied. The higher the number, the thicker the paint that the nozzle can process. For example, a '517' nozzle means a spray width of 25 cm and a nozzle opening diameter of 0.017 inch.
