Washington D.C. Secretary of State George C. Marshall warned the Senate Appropriations Committee today that House cuts in State Department funds will leave him "definitely weakened" for the coming year of "critical world affairs." He asked specifically for restoration of almost 16 million dollars cut from his request by the House. Photo measures 6.5 x 8.5 inches. Photo Is dated 1948.
