Overview:
Arab-Byzantine bronze follis of the Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine war series, struck after AD 634 during the conflict period in the eastern Mediterranean. The obverse depicts Heraclius standing facing in military attire holding a long cross, alongside Heraclius Constantine holding a globus cruciger; the letter K appears between their heads.

The reverse shows a large M denomination with regnal formula elements, with CON in exergue. The engraving and fabric indicate a contemporary Arab-Byzantine issue rather than an official Constantinople mint product, corresponding to the emergency military coinage traditionally associated with the Neapolis series.

These issues belong to the brief transitional phase during the Arab-Byzantine war and are considerably scarcer than standard imperial folles.

Authenticity Check:
Natural patina consistent with 7th-century bronze. Fabric and strike characteristics match Arab-Byzantine war issues. No signs of casting or modern tooling.
