Includes: Meter, original leather case, and metal neck chain
Description:
Authentic Tower Model 9660 Light Meter - 1950s Sears Photography Gear
This is a well-preserved Tower Exposure Meter, originally sold through Sears, Roebuck and Co. during the golden age of film photography. It features a classic analog dial and a flip-up honeycomb light sensor cover.
Collector Features:
All-Metal Construction: Built with the durability typical of Japanese-made optics from the 1950s and 60s.
No Batteries Required: This uses a selenium cell to generate power from light, meaning it never needs a battery (though accuracy may vary due to age).
Complete Set: Comes with its original brown leather "ever-ready" protective case and the vintage metal ball-link neck chain.
Condition Note: Cosmetic condition is excellent with very little wear on the body or the leather case. The needle does react to light, but because it is a vintage selenium meter, it is being sold as-is for display or collection and has not been calibrated for modern film use.
