This kit is used to remedy leaking water under the refrigerator’s crispers and also a fan noise on models with bottom freezers and French doors with dual evaporators. When water does not drain properly from the defrost, it can cause ice to form, interfering with the fan and freezing the drain, causing water to overflow under the crisper drawers.
