Description ------- one (1), pre-owned, excellent, SQUARE QUILTED, MEN’S MEDIUM - LL Bean “Ascent PACKAWAY VEST”, in a great color - a dark reddish-orange color that LLBean called “Dark Cayenne” - it looks like the kitchen spice - see second photo.

Size: Men’s Medium regular
Purchased directly from LL Bean in 2013, for my husband who, maybe, wore it twice. 🤷🏻‍♀️
It has the highly sought-after, old school, vintage-look, straight-box stitched quilting design (the newer ones are quilted on an angle)
The color is a deep reddish-orange, which was called “dark cayenne” like the spice - and that’s exactly what it looks like - my camera had difficulty capturing the exact color - most of the pics makes it look brighter than it is in person.

2 generously sized, slant hand pockets with zippers - the left hand zipper is the one you turn inside out as you pack the vest into it. This pocket has an interior zipper pull that says “stowaway”, see detail photo.

No interior pockets.

Length, measured at neck/shoulder seam - 26”
Primaloft insulation weighs very little - but performs - it keeps your core warm without bulk or weight. (I have one - wore it to Iceland. It was my favored daily layer, and it packed so small - I was able to bring just a carryon for a 1 week trip.)
