Early Arab-Byzantine bronze fals struck in Palestine during the first decades of Umayyad rule. These issues preserve Byzantine imperial iconography while being produced under Islamic governance prior to the full epigraphic reform of ‘Abd al-Malik.

Coins of this type circulated in the Jerusalem (Iliya) region and represent the monetary transition between Byzantine administration and early Islamic control. The crude engraving and compact flan are typical of local provincial production in Bilad al-Sham.

Correct early Arab-Byzantine bronze fabric, iconography, and patina. No signs of modern casting or tooling. Fully guaranteed authentic.

Condition:
Circulated example with dark green patina. Standing figure and M reverse clearly visible. Minor edge irregularity consistent with age.
