This is a early Autometer 3,000 RPM tachometer. The model number is 733-1 as shown. This would be great for a vintage boat, diesel engine , etc. If would also be a great display piece for your garage, shop, office or mancave. Many guys also look for these lower RPM tachs in this awesome condition in order to pirate the parts like the chrome bezel, lens, meter, and case to restore their higher RPM tachs with worn or broken parts. Early Stewart Warner tachs used the same parts as these early Autometer tachs so the parts are quicte desireable. Don't miss this awesome early Autometer tach.
This tach is new in its original box and has never been used or installed. The dial is very bright and easy to read. The lens is real glass and is free of cracks or other damage as shown. The front bezel is the chrome style and looks great. The back is the tach is also very clean as shown. The mounting brackets and original lamp socket with bulb are still sealed in the original bag. This tach has been tested and works smoothly throughout the RPM band with no sticking or hesitation and returns to zero when powered off. The last few picture shows the needle in different positions while it was tested. Don't miss this very rare and hard to find early Autometer tach.
