STEPHEN (WOLFY) SMITH… More than ten years ago I was climbing and hiking in South America when I met a couple of Adventure Riders crossing the Andes on their BMW 1150 GS motors. I realised then and there I was tired of trekking and wanted to ride my adventures.
I started Adventure Moto with the idea of bringing in the best gear and parts I would ride with on my own Adventures. I’m not an ex-pro racer, I don’t think I am a better rider than the next bloke, I simply love being a 95%er, that is someone who would rather be riding dirt and trail than the blacktop (95% of the roads out there are unpaved).
My first bike was a Honda XR75 and eventually, I graduated onto an old DT175 and by the time I got my license a DR250. My first Big Bore Adventure bike was a BMW 1200GS and I have owned or ridden just about every kind of ADV bike since my passion developed. There is no right or wrong bike. Just the bike you love to ride. Sometimes I am as happy on a Yamaha WR250R as my current R1200GSW.
1. RETURNS POLICY – WE TAKE THE RISK OUT OF ORDERING ONLINE!
If you receive any merchandise that you are unhappy with for any reason, simply return it to us within 60 days in the condition that you received it and we will happily provide store credit or a refund.
As we do "exchanges" a little differently, the best way to secure the new item is to place a new order now for the correct item so it ships ASAP. Once we receive your returned item, we will credit or refund it immediately. This ensures you get the new item quickly and secure the stock.
To make returns even easier, we provide a prepaid postage label which is deducted from your refund or credit. This usually costs between $8–$15 depending on size and weight, cheaper than standard Australia Post rates. You can print the label at home or show the barcode on your smartphone at any post office.
Unfortunately, return labels are only available within Australia. International returns must be handled manually by the sender.
2. RETURN TERMS & CONDITIONS
All returns MUST be authorised by Adventure Moto before goods are returned. Please call or email our team to obtain a return number.
All items must be returned in their original condition with tags attached (unless faulty). Packaged items must be returned with original packaging intact or your return may be declined.
To ensure your return is accepted, please avoid:

When trying on boots, do not stand on foot pegs — sharp pegs can mark soles and your return may be rejected.

Ladies, please remove makeup before trying on helmets. Makeup stains cheek pads and returns may be refused.

Check hard parts for correct fitment before removing packaging. Items like chains cannot be returned once removed from sealed packaging.

Clothing must be free from marks, stains, rips, and odours. All tags must be attached.

No returns on Ethikas, underwear, or swimwear due to hygiene laws (unless faulty).

Any return not in acceptable condition will be sent back at customer expense.
3. SIZE & FIT GUARANTEE
We offer a Size & Fit Guarantee on KLIM Gore-Tex and Adventure apparel, which are marked on our website with the Size & Fit Guarantee logo.
Contact our customer service team and we’ll send you a return label if it’s a qualifying product. Please note that the Size & Fit Guarantee is offered for product replacement for size correction and not for change of mind items.
4. FAULTY ITEMS
If you believe your item is faulty and requires refund, repair, or replacement, please contact our customer service team before returning it. Attach clear images of the fault when emailing so we can assess it quickly.
When a faulty item is confirmed, a prepaid return label may be issued. Faulty items can be returned outside standard return timeframes if still under warranty.
Refunds for approved faults are typically processed within 24 hours. If the manufacturer must review the fault, the process may take up to two weeks, after which refunds or replacements take 1–7 business days.
If your order arrives damaged in transit, take photos before and after opening the packaging and email them to us immediately.
5. DANGEROUS GOODS
Adventure Moto cannot accept returns of Dangerous Goods (DG) items because return freight is not legally covered by required documentation.
If your DG order arrives damaged, please take photos before and after opening the packaging and contact our team for the correct procedure.
6. RETURN TO SENDER
If your order is returned to sender, credit will be added to your Adventure Moto account (excluding shipping unless Adventure Moto was at fault).
You may reorder with updated details, or request a refund. Note: Orders with free freight will be refunded or credited minus the original freight cost (unless Adventure Moto was at fault).

Orders placed before 2pm on weekdays will be dispatched on the same day!
Carriers & Delivery Time:
We use Australia Post, Star Track and Couriers Please to deliver our orders.
Order Tracking:
As soon as we’ve dispatched your order and it’s ready for pickup by our shipping carrier, you’ll receive an email with the update and also a link to track your order! You can also log into your account to view your orders, simply select the order and hit ‘Track’.
Things to Remember:
Same day dispatch before 2pm is for orders placed on weekdays, however, our Warehouse Team do work over the weekend to ensure any weekend orders are ready for pickup on the following Monday.
Orders placed after 2pm will be processed the following business day.
Delivery times are based on business days (so they do not include public holidays).
On the extremely rare occasion that we cannot locate an item in our warehouse, we will be in touch with you asap and try our best to ensure your order still leaves us on the day it is supposed to.
We ask that you please be understanding of any unforeseen delivery delays with our shipping carriers, although they do an amazing job they do encounter delays from time to time. For example, Australia Post claims that 90% of orders that don’t arrive by their estimated date will arrive within three business days.
If your order is only a day or two overdue with Standard Shipping please don’t worry as it will likely arrive soon. If your order is four or more days late with Standard Shipping or two or more days late with Express Shipping, please get in touch with us and we’ll investigate further.
