The Arc B580 is a performance-segment graphics card by Intel, launched on December 13th, 2024. Built on the 5 nm process, and based on the BMG-G21 graphics processor, in its SRPMF variant, the card supports DirectX 12 Ultimate. This ensures that all modern games will run on Arc B580. Additionally, the DirectX 12 Ultimate capability guarantees support for hardware-raytracing, variable-rate shading and more, in upcoming video games. The BMG-G21 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 272 mm² and 19,600 million transistors. It features 2560 shading units, 160 texture mapping units, and 80 ROPs. Also included are 160 tensor cores which help improve the speed of machine learning applications. The card also has 20 raytracing acceleration cores. Intel has paired 12 GB GDDR6 memory with the Arc B580, which are connected using a 192-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 2670 MHz, which can be boosted up to 2670 MHz, memory is running at 2375 MHz (19 Gbps effective).
Being a dual-slot card, the Intel Arc B580 draws power from 1x 8-pin power connector, with power draw rated at 190 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x HDMI 2.1a, 3x DisplayPort 2.1. Arc B580 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 4.0 x8 interface. The card's dimensions are 272 mm x 115 mm x 45 mm, and it features a dual-slot cooling solution
