This is a genuine Polish state award, the Medal for Long Marital Life (Medal za Długoletnie Pożycie Małżeńskie). It is traditionally awarded by the President of Poland to couples who have reached their 50th wedding anniversary (Golden Jubilee).
Design Details: Obverse: Features two intertwined roses, symbolizing the enduring bond of marriage.
Reverse: Monogram "RP" (Republic of Poland) or "PRL" (People's Republic of Poland), depending on the era of issue.
Ribbon: Characteristic pink silk ribbon with a white vertical stripe in the center.
Material: Silver-plated or oxidized metal (depending on the year of production).
