A series first introduced in 2024 featuring sporty dials with dynamic double stripes and number "6" in the form of a racing number, this Sports Edition 2025 of Junghan's 1972 Chronoscope is a limited edition of only 200 pieces and features a 43.3 mm stainless steel cushion case with a matte gray dial under a scratch-resistant flat sapphire crystal. Highlighted within are the vertical double stripes in gold-tone, historical Junghans logo, and oversized "6" in metallic gold-tone. It has silver-tone and luminescent pencil hands with applied indices as hour markers. Surrounding it is a uni-directional rotating bezel with a 60-minute scale on a black top ring. This is complemented by 3 chronograph subdials (60-secs., 60-mins. & 24-hour indicator), central chronograph seconds hand, protected crown, pushers at the 2 and 4 o'clock positions, and a date window between the 4 and 5 o'clock positions. Fitted with a black leather strap made in the style of traditional driving gloves and secured with a stainless steel signed buckle. The screw down caseback is engraved with the brand's script logo, limited edition number, and "Sports Edition" which encases the caliber J645.83, a Swiss quartz chronograph movement and is water resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet.

By 1903, it became the largest watch and clock factory in the world producing over 3 million timepieces annually. With the development of highly accurate wristwatch movements, Junghans also became the 3rd largest manufacturer of chronometers in the world by 1956. A partnership with Max Bill, a Bauhaus-educated and renowned product designer, developed the first designer kitchen clock from Junghans and by 1961, designs the purist watches with his groundbreaking watch design, a minimalist and classic aesthetic that keeps up with the latest technical state of the art.
