A 1895 Victorian 2 piece rich dynamic colored printed silk visiting or afternoon dress outfit, embellished with a machine done tambour like lace on bodice front, on lower cuff sleeves, and circling its high collar. This outfit is very wearable and ready for a new collection.

BODICE:
• Diagonal pleats with lace and green velvet inserts accent the bodice
• Brown cotton lining.
• Large puff to the shoulder sleeves, with handkerchief velvet points below elbow turning into horizontal pleats in net lace.
• Closure is center front with inner metal eye/hook closure, with inner closure accented with tiered rows of blue silk satin ruffles.
• Inside with 12 fabric covered rigid stays.
• Front opening forms at point at base waist line.

• Very good Condition. • No Underarm discoloration in outer fabric, light discoloration inside lining.

SKIRT:
• The skirt is made with 7 panels connected by hand stitched feather stitches to close seams and with machine lace at center front. 5 small pleats descent from waist to hem in each panel. .
• Two separate ribbons of green velvet circles above the hem with feather stitches connecting to hem.
• Small back train cascades down skirt
• Hook and eye closures at back waist opening.
• No lining.
• Skirt is strong and durable.
CONDITION OF SKIRT:
• Excellent condition.
• Small openings in feather stitching above hemline.
