Very hard to find toy in box ! The rod in this set is a bit too big, was mabe once used so that the area around the hole in the clown is not perfect anymore.
The set was made " in Saxonia", a part of the German empire, it was common to put this on products from saxonia around 1900. Wood looks really great, the clown needs a thin rod ( please check out the hole) for working, my mother did not test this , just displayed it, original box with cardboard wear esp. at the edges, box is close to 8 x 8 inches
