VINTAGE CHRIS FRANCIS (SHORT STOP) SCREEN PRINT - "MOVED TO MEXICO"

AUTHENTICITY
• Signed: Hand-signed "Chris Francis" in pencil on the bottom margin.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: CHRIS FRANCIS (aka "SHORT STOP")
Before rising to prominence as a world-renowned shoe designer and artist with solo exhibitions at the Craft Contemporary Museum and features in Vogue, Chris Francis spent five years living on freight trains under the moniker "Short Stop."
These works are rare artifacts from that specific era (late 1990s–early 2000s). They represent the raw, authentic roots of his "Brutalist" design philosophy. Unlike his current gallery work, these pieces were created for the streets and the rails, making them scarce pieces of American counter-culture history.
