Vintage 12-inch fashion doll from the late 1960s to early 1970s. This is a Hong Kong–made Barbie-size fashion doll clone, typical of the Mod era and sold in department and dime stores at the time.
The doll features a painted facial design with bold eyeliner and arched brows, rooted blonde hair, and a soft vinyl body. Back of head is marked “Hong Kong” (see photos).
Includes a bright psychedelic Mod jumpsuit with wide legs and kimono-style sleeves. Outfit is period-correct and believed to be original to the doll or original to this type of Hong Kong fashion doll. No shoes included.
A great display piece for collectors of vintage Mod fashion dolls or Hong Kong Barbie clones.
