Appears to be Oil on Glass ? ( Milk Glass / Opaque White Glass)

Antique Gilt Gesso frame

Age unknown - going by label on rear - late 1800s / early 1900s ??

I thought it was from Canterbury Town looking down River but Im not sure now - a more local persom may recognise the Church and other features .

 Antique Gilt Gesso frame - has some wear at edges 

Glazed with silver coloured inner bevel.

A chip at base left corner 

Chips at top right outer corner 

Lesser chips / wear to other corners

REAR - Brown paper has peeled to top revealing opaque milk glass picture is painted on. Sales label - BOWLES Framer / Printseller  Marlowe House  St.Peters Street , Canterbury
