Antique French Pink Marble Mantel Clock – Bernard Lion, Paris

Antique French mantel clock with solid pink marble case and original mechanical movement signed “Bernard Lion – À Paris.” Heavy, well-built clock with classic French styling.

Functionality / Condition:

When the clock is gently moved or adjusted, the pendulum starts swinging and the movement responds.

When moved in a certain position, a chime sound is heard, indicating the chime mechanism engages.

Clock key is NOT included, therefore the clock has not been fully wound or fully tested.

Due to the missing key, full functionality and long-term operation have not been verified, however based on the movement response, pendulum action, and chime engagement, it is very likely the clock operates properly.

As with all antique mechanical clocks, it may be sensitive to level and positioning, and time accuracy is not guaranteed. No recent servicing has been performed.
