This watch is from a time when quartz technology was amazing! It was just before the time of the "Quartz crisis" where quartz watches were regard as very incredibly accurate devices! The grand quartz was actually a very expensive watch to buy in the 70s because of such technology, so it is actually much cheaper to buy it now!

I really like this watch! It is the "Gold Cap" model, so it has a thick gold coating to the case. Even though it is so old, it still appears very well with minimal tarnishing. I hope that this watch may go to a collector who will really enjoy it!

The leather strap has been replaced with a high quality strap because I like this watch!

Condition

This is a used watch. It is in good condition. The glass has some small scratches which can be seen in images. The dial has some patina and marks. The leather strap is a new replacement. There are some scratches and marks to the case. Please may you refer to the images for a full description.

Function

The watch has been checked for function and is working properly and keeps good time. The battery has been replaced. The case has been cleaned. Due to age of the device we cannot guarantee same waterproofing as when new. Please proceed with caution.
