Vintage Thailand Akha Hill Tribe Traditional Beaded Seed Shell Silver Disk Men's Vest

This vintage Thailand Akha Hill Tribe traditional beaded seeds, shells, silver disks men's vest dates from the 1970s. It is made of a black cotton twill woven hand loomed dyed fabric, with hand sewn tiny seeds, shells, silver metal round disks, button accents done in decorative geometric designs, multicolored yarn beaded shell tassels and colorful cotton appliqued striped trim. This beautiful beaded men's tribal traditional wedding festival ceremonial costume has a sleeveless vest jacket style with red yard tie strap closures down the front and is unlined. The top measures 26 inches long, with a 40 inch chest, 40 inch waist and 20 inch back. It is in good condition with several loose missing beadwork pieces (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful rare piece of Thailand Akha Hill people tribal textile wearable art!
